Install Sheetfolio on Shopify in One Click

Step 1: Install from the Shopify App Store

Open the Sheetfolio listing and press Install. Shopify shows you what the app asks for before anything happens: one scope, read products, which covers products, variants, prices, SKUs, barcodes, images, collections and product metafields. It does not ask for customers, orders or payments, and it cannot write to your store. Approve, and the app opens under Apps in your admin.

The free plan is active immediately: one saved catalog, up to 100 products, two PDFs a month. No card is needed. If you want Pro, the 7-day trial starts when you press Start Pro trial in the app and approve the subscription on Shopify's page; nothing is charged until the trial ends.

Step 2: Create your first catalog

Press New catalog. The form has three parts:

• What goes in. A collection (or all products) and one of the three templates: compact line sheet with the size × colour SKU matrix, visual catalog, or price list.
• Wholesale price. A product metafield, by default custom.wholesale_price, or a percentage off retail. If you have neither yet, pick a percentage; you can switch to a metafield later.
• Branding. Brand name, season or edition, currency symbol and a contact line. These print on every page.

Give the catalog a name you will recognise next season ("Spring 2027 · line sheet") and press Save.

Step 3: Run the preflight

Press Run preflight. In a second or two you get a table of what a buyer would notice: products without an image, without a price, without a SKU, with a duplicate SKU, and so on, each with a link to the product in your admin. Fix what matters in Shopify and run it again, or carry on. The full list of checks is on the features page.

Step 4: Generate and share

Press Generate PDF. The catalog is built in the background: the page shows Queued, then Generating, then a green Your catalog is ready banner with a download link that stays valid for 24 hours. Small collections take seconds; 1,500 products take under a minute. You can leave the page and come back.

Send the link to buyers, or download the file and attach it. When prices change or new products arrive, open your catalog list and press Refresh: same layout, same branding, today's data.

Uninstalling

Remove the app from Settings → Apps and sales channels in your Shopify admin. Shopify tells us at once; the app's access token is deleted immediately, your catalog definitions within 30 days, and any PDF within 24 hours. A Pro subscription ends with the uninstall. Details in the privacy policy.

Before you install: is this the right tool?

Sheetfolio is for brands and wholesalers who send line sheets, PDF catalogs or price lists to buyers and want them generated from Shopify instead of rebuilt by hand. It is not a design tool and it does not take orders.
